Are you exhausted?
Night after night you tiptoe, soothe and wake, hoping for just one stretch of uninterrupted sleep.
I know first hand that those first months can feel beautiful and overwhelming all at once. If sleep feels uncertain right now you are not alone. I’m here to guide you and your baby towards more settled nights - always with care, responsiveness, and your family’s well being at the heart.
At Scarlet Robin Sleep we understand that observing your baby and listening to their sleepy cues can make all the difference. We understand how small changes — the right wake windows, a calmer sleep environment and gentle, consistent routines — can bring big improvements.
We offer bespoke, family-centred plans that fit your child and your values, not one-size-fits-all methods.
No harsh schedules, no tears-led approaches just practical guidance, compassionate support and realistic steps to help your little one sleep better and your family feel more rested.

Understanding your baby’s sleep
Restful sleep in babies isn’t just about what happens once they’re in the cot — it’s shaped by a combination of gentle, consistent factors throughout the day, and particularly in the hour leading up to bedtime.
Babies need to learn how to sleep independently . It is not a skill we are born with. In the womb your baby would have slept all day while you were active. The rocking motion would have sent him to sleep. The drum of your heart beat would have been constant. All your baby’s needs would have been met. It is no wonder your baby will be most put out when you try to place him in the moses basket.
Your baby needs time to adjust to the world. The circadian rhythm will take time to establish. It will be 8 weeks before your baby starts to produce its own melatonin, the sleep hormone which signals tiredness.
Feeding patterns, a calm sleep environment, age appropriate wake windows, emotional connection with your infant are all factors that play a part.
We are all driven by hormones and babies are no different. Light has a huge influence on our sleep hormones so getting your babies environment right is imperative.
Where it all began
Hi I am Jessica and I am mother to three children. My eldest daughter Scarlett turned 18 recently. She is the inspiration behind Scarlet Robin Sleep. I didn’t know babies could cry so much. I felt out of my depth and like nobody understood.
I loved my baby with all my heart but I was too emotionally drained to appreciate her properly.
My mother was unwell and from a different generation ….
Friends and family all had a different book, routine, something to add….
I felt judged and criticised. Surely this should come naturally.
What I didn’t appreciate was my baby was not broken and neither was I. I just needed to tune into her better and not be so afraid of her.
Message from a recent client….
I wholeheartedly recommend Jessica. Before her help, sleepless nights were putting a strain on our marriage and family. Routines fell apart and we felt lost.
Jessica brought calm and clarity with a bespoke plan that respected wake windows, improved the sleep environment and used gentle, behaviour-led methods aligned with our values. She explained every step, set realistic goals and supported us through setbacks.
Within weeks our baby slept better, naps improved, and nights became predictable. We regained patience and time for each other, easing household tension. Jessica restored balance to our family and helped our marriage no end. We’re deeply grateful.
